About our club
The Marine and Techincal Diving Club is Branch 1432 of the British Sub-Aqua Club (B.S.A.C) and was founded in 1982.
Most members are based in South Shields, but some come from Newcastle and even as far a field as Yorkshire to dive in our club.
We are a large club of around 50 divers and non-divers and currently have seven B.S.A.C Open Water Instructors and numerous
Advanced Divers and Dive Leaders.
Learn to dive, then dive the world!We are a highly active club, diving most weekends and organising a range of trips either
in this country or abroad (see our photos). We are also a very social club and regularly put on social events or just a trip
to the local pub!
